Wavlink WN572HP3 Extender Setup AC1200 | Repeater mode
Repeater mode installation is one of the easiest ways to configure your outdoor extender.
Follow the below-given instructions to connect the WN572HP3 extender AC1200 with the repeater mode:
- The first step is to plug the WN572HP3 POE connector into the power outlet.
- Once you have the solid green light on the AC1200, now connect the ethernet cable from the POE to the extender.
- Wait for the solid green/blue lights to light up on your outdoor extender.
- Now grab any wireless-enabled device i.e. a laptop or a cellphone.
- And go to the wireless settings option and look for the network name WAVLINK-N.
- Connect with the default network and open a web browser i.e. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.
- And type in ap.setup or 192.168.10.1
- You are now on the Wavlink WN572HP3 outdoor extender setup page.
- Enter the default password ”admin” to log in.
- Once you logged in, select the repeater option and choose your wireless network name and enter the password then click on “Next“.
- The extender is now successfully configured with your existing WIFI network as a repeater.
Note: If you want to use your extender as a repeater do not connect any cable from the POE to the main router/modem.

- Firstly, plug the Wavlink AC1200 connector ( POE ) box into the power outlet.
- Now connect the ethernet cable from the POE box to the WN572HP3 extender.
- And then connect the other ethernet cable from the same connector box to your main router or modem.
- Grab now any of your wireless-enabled devices and connect with the WAVLINK-N network.
- Once connected, open a web browser and type in wifi.wavlink.com.
- You are now on the AC1200 outdoor extender setup page.
- Enter the default password ”admin” to log in.
- Now select the ”Router” option and create a unique name for your booster.
- Change the security from none to WPA2-PSK ( recommended ). And enter the password for your extender and click “Next”.
- You are now successfully configured the Wavlink outdoor extender with the router mode.
